FoxT Delivers New Secure Messaging Capabilities
Powerful new capabilities extend an organization's ability to manage messaging security from a single point of control
Palo Alto, CA - January 10, 2007 - FoxT Incorporated, (www.foxt.com), a leading provider of enterprise governance, risk and compliance automation, today announced a new release of its FoxT Secure Messaging Server (SMS) solution. FoxT SMS gives organizations a single point of control for managing messaging security. The solution acts as a secure messaging firewall between a company's internal network and the Internet and allows company policies for messaging security to be set up at the server level. The solution also provides centrally based encryption, ensuring the arrival or departure of encrypted, un-tampered email.
This latest release of FoxT Secure Messaging gives organizations even greater flexibility in how they manage outgoing and incoming messages with the following capabilities:
- Full PGP/MIME support: Ability to generate outgoing PGP/MIME messages and improved support for parsing incoming messages
- Macro editor: The ability to add, delete, and edit macros
- Separate Filtering: Policies can be individually set to check the message header, body text, or attachments
- Sequential Logic for Checking Policies: The ability to set the order of policies and use the first matching policy versus checking all policies for the best match
- Regular Expression Policy Matching: Added support for using regular expressions in policies for more flexible pattern matching
- Message Quarantine: Messages can be quarantined instead of just blocked or archived
"While organizations are becoming increasingly dependent on stable email services, the ever increasing amount of undesired mail flooding their servers is reaching intolerable levels," said Tommy Magnusson, Vice President of the Swedish Development Center at FoxT. "With the new filtering capabilities our customers are able to configure defense strategies based on much more flexible rule definitions, which will help protect their email systems more efficiently."
